You don’t take a photograph, you make it – Ansel Adams
My daily commute into London Waterloo. Taken in Kingston upon Thames during the half term. A quiet morning. I presume most commuters were on holiday.
Cooked a simple dhal with assorted beans, cilantro/coriander leaves, carrots, potatoes, turmeric, onions, ginger and chillies for lunch. Delicious by dipping some home made roti (bread) into the dhal. A winter warmer.
A day out to see the ArcelorMittal Orbit in Stratford, East London
“I have been indeed most mercifully supported in my difficult task, but it is my beloved Albert, who helps me through all my difficulties, & guides me in everything.” – Queen Victoria
A slightly different theme from my usual 100 Days of London Photography. This photo was taken during one of my lunch hour walks in Godalming, Surrey.
Godalming is only a few miles from Guildford and it is a great place for walks. You can take a walk along the River Wey into the quaint town. The WinkWorth arboretum is also close by.
